On Monday the 22nd of June at 20.30 the Course Presentation DJ-ing takes place in the cafe of Usva. During this presentation the participants will show you what they’ve learned and worked on for the last 8 weeks. After this course people are able to play a set, have basic knowledge of sound and technique and know how to further develop themselves at home.

This course is taught by Coco Coquelicot. Program maker at, and one of the founders from, Relate Radio and KOPJEK’s first female resident. She organizes PAUW! in VERA and participates in the queer club night BUTTS of OOST. She has a great knowledge of modern underground pop music and a deep love for songs with a powerful message. She has been making radio for 8 years and has been an integral part of the nightlife in the Netherlands for several years now. Although she considers herself more of a music lover and radio producer than a DJ, she is very skilled at the mixer and in the club. Via groovy bass lines and danceable rhythms, Coco builds up her sets and skillfully alternates all kinds of genres.
