Just started DJ’ing and ready to play for a crowd? Want to find people who might dig your genre? Curious about the sound of the future? Come to Coco’s Open Decks! For one night, we will change USVA’s theatre into a club, and you can bring all of your friends to dance to your music! Everyone will play a set of 20-30 minutes, depending on the number of sign-ups. That is short, so plan your tracks wisely! This also means there are limited spaces for around 10 people, so please don’t wait too long to sign up.
You can sign up using this form.
You need to be proficient enough as a DJ to be (un)comfortable playing independently from your own USB stick. Other than that, no entry restrictions or genre boundaries. We will be working on a Pioneer DJ XDJ XZ, so it is a digital-mixing night. Vinyl cannot be accommodated. A headphone is provided.
USVA’s very own DJ teacher Coco Coquelicot will also be there to answer all of your DJ questions and will end the night with a short set so you can all dance and relax before signing off!
If you’re not participating but just want to come and party, please buy a ticket!
