Where do you begin? 55 years ago, student activists asked themselves the same question, leading to the founding of the Groningen Student Union (GSb). In 1971, they campaigned for a better position for students, against climate change, and for international solidarity. How does the political youth culture of that time compare to today's? And what's on the agendas of student activists today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The book launch of  <em>Nait Soez\u2019n \u2013 De Groninger Studentenbond in jaren zeventig \u2013 en wat daaraan vooraf ging<\/em> will kick off this program. Afterwards, GSb alumni will engage in conversation with contemporary student activists. Researcher Rodrigo Gonzalez Alvarez and human rights lawyer Jelle Klaas will talk about queer activism and the right to protest. You can also make a political zine, give traditional protest songs a modern twist, and listen to live music.
