Welcome to the 17th edition of Flicks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The International Student Film Festival is back on the 12th and 13th of March, turning our theatre at Usva into a cinema! From Iran, Russia to Indonesia: Young passionate filmmakers from all over the world have sent in their projects, and we have selected the best ones. We\u2019d like to share these stories with you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our theme this year is: Windows to the World.<\/strong> Come by, grab some popcorn, and discover what student cinema has to offer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both nights will be accompanied by live music. Each night you\u2019ll see around 15-20 films, capturing a variety of genres, styles and stories. From impressive cinematography to fun animations and short dramas rivalling your favourite art house films, we\u2019re giving you glimpses into cultures and perspectives you might not get otherwise. Films that inspire, make you think or are just a fun watch.
Our jury consists of film experts, film buffs and Flicks veterans. They\u2019ll share their thoughts and give us insights that spark further discussions. At the end of each night, the jury will choose their favorite film, and you, our audience, can vote and decide who gets the audience award!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
