Adobe Illustrator - Intermediate

Note: in this course we use computers on which only UG-students are able to log in. Others should take their own laptop and have a private subscription for Adobe Creative Cloud.

Welcome to this intermediate graphic design course, where we'll take your skills in Adobe Illustrator to the next level. This concentrated course, consisting of 5 times two-hour lessons, is designed for students who have already completed our initial 10-lessons class (beginner) OR have acquired prior basic knowledge of these design softwares.

This class will teach you to apply your knowledge and skills in a cohesive and strategic manner. For following the class, you need to know your way around the software's interface, but also have basic ideas on how works the main tools and panels. In the intermediate Illustrator lessons, we'll expand your knowledge in vector graphics editing. You'll learn techniques for creating intricate illustrations, manipulating complex shapes, and utilising typography features. We'll explore path editing, color techniques, and advanced pattern creation. Additionally, we'll dive into creating 3D effects and incorporating perspective drawing techniques. Throughout the course, you'll tackle challenging assignments that will enlarge your capacities in vector design.

As a final note, this class is also incorporating initiation to the usage of generative AI within the softwares, mainly for Photoshop and Illustrator.
