We’ll start with the basics, introducing you to the fundamental steps and body movements that are essential to this vibrant dance style.
But most importantly, the teacher will be focusing on teaching choreography that you can learn. You’ll learn a series of choreographed routines, each designed to build on the last. These routines blend traditional African dance elements with modern styles, showcasing the diversity and relevance of Afrobeats.

This course is offered in English. This course starts on Monday 14 September 2026 at 19.30 and will be 15 weeks in a row on the same day and time. Please note that there are no classes during the Christmas Break on Monday the 21st of December and the 28th of December. The course will take place in the Drama Room in Usva.
