Bragi
Bragi is the oldest, largest, and, most importantly, most fun student music association in Groningen. The association was established in 1882 and has around 100 classical music-loving members. Bragi consists of a symphony orchestra, a symphony choir and an a cappella choir, who all rehearse weekly: the orchestra and symphony choir on Monday and the a cappella choir on Wednesday. Every academic year each ensemble works towards three amazing concert programmes. Can we welcome you at our open rehearsals? Or are you in the audience for our next concert?
Estrellas
Popchoir Estrellas is thé student pop choir of Groningen! With 24 members divided into three voice groups (altos, mezzos, and sopranos), we sing a light repertoire of pop music throughout time. We rehearse every Thursday in the Usva Zangzolder and regularly organize performances. In addition to making music, we are a close-knit group that also enjoys doing fun things together outside of rehearsals.
