Confidential Counselor
Confidential Counselor
Ilse Douma is the confidential counselor of Usva. At Usva, we believe it's important that you always feel safe in our building, whether you're taking a course, attending a theater performance, or working for Usva. If something has happened to you that you feel uncomfortable about or that you'd like to report, you can contact Ilse. These conversations are completely confidential, and you can, of course, also be anonymous.

If approaching Ilse doesn't feel right, you can also contact Stephanie Hoenders or Petra de Jong, the official confidential counselors at the University of Groningen. They have an independent position and offer individual support to students and staff regarding inappropriate behavior, personnel issues, and integrity.
