This course can be seen as a group singing lesson. We choose monophonic song repertoire from various styles, times and directions. We alternate a pop song by Sting or Anouk with a musical hit by George Gershwin or Irving Berlin.
During the lessons we work on technical aspects, such as breath control and tone formation. But the content aspects of the music are also discussed. Both beginners and more experienced singers are welcome for this course. You do not have to be able to read music.
Anyone who wants to sing solo is cordially invited. But those who like to hide behind someone else are also welcome in this course. The first half of the course we always study together. When we have mastered the music a little, we will see who wants to take on the solo parts.
This course will be 10 weeks in a row on the same day and time. The course will take place in the Attic in Usva.
There are no classes on April 29 & May 6, the last lesson will be on June 17. If you want, you can join a course presentation on Wednesday June 24.
