There’s no specific theme for the evening. Think of it as an all-you-can-play! Want to dive deep into Stratego? Go for it! Feeling more like speed-running Exploding Kittens? Grab a coffee at the bar and see how fast you can make it out alive. Feel more like relaxing? Pick up our 1000 piece puzzle and just enjoy the atmosphere. If you’re bored of a game you’re playing, you can always choose a new one from our growing collection of over 30 games, or join another table and see what others are playing.
Want to play something we don’t have? Feel free to bring your own game and invite your friends for a cozy evening in our cafe. Don’t feel pressured to bring a friend, though. Our Board Game cafe is the perfect place to meet new people, especially if you’re a first year student discovering what Groningen has to offer!
