Looking for a relaxing yet challenging hobby? Then knitting is just the thing for you!
It’s a hobby you can make as easy (or as difficult) as you like: whether you fancy knitting endless scarves or are daring to go and start knitting your own clothes? Anything is possible!
In these lessons, Iza will teach you the basics of knitting. We’ll start by casting on stitches and discuss the different types of yarn and materials. You’ll also learn various stitches. Naturally, this includes the knit and purl stitches. You’ll learn to apply these stitches in various basic knitting patterns, such as garter stitch, stockinette stitch and ribbing. Here, you’ll learn all the basics you need to knit your first scarf or vest.
To join this course, you’ll need various materials. You’ll find information and explanations about the materials in this file..
This course starts on Monday, January 11, at 18.00 in the 'Blue Room' in Usva and runs for 5 weeks. The registration will open on Monday 19 October at 12.00.
