During this entry-level course we will work on learning basic voice techniques in groups consisting of a maximum of four people, and attention will be paid to individual singing tips. Just a few facts and tricks can help you to sing more easily and with more enjoyment: you learn how to sing higher, lower, with more volume, or to be more flexible in using the voice. If you know more about how your voice works, you will be able to use it in a conscious way.
Course content: developing the voice and learning how to use it better. This will be done by working on (basic) singing techniques such as breathing, posture, articulation, volume and voice capacity. We put the techniques into practice through the use of spoken texts, songs, and canons (in both the Dutch and English language).
This course is offered in English. This course starts on Thursday 15 January 2026 at 10.30 and will be 5 weeks in a row on the same day and time. The course will take place in the Attic in Usva.
