For the first edition of Bookclub Cafe, we’re getting together to celebrate reading and readers in all their forms. You’re more than welcome to join, even if you wouldn’t necessarily describe yourself as an avid reader. We’ll meet once a month, on Fridays, in the cozy Usva Cafe!
Bookclub Cafe: Books for Autumn
We find there’s something about summer giving way to autumn that makes you want to slow down and cozy up with a warm drink and a good book.
This first edition, Books for Autumn, is all about bringing people together to discover new reads and design their own autumn reading curriculum! Throughout the evening, you’ll exchange recommendations based on a series of autumn inspired prompts and create your own Autumn Reading List to take home.
What’s a book you would reach for on a rainy afternoon? Which read would you recommend to someone who needs a little escape? Is there a book that changed the way you look at endings? You’ll get the chance to discuss these questions in small groups and bond with fellow readers.
Last but not least, this evening might also be your chance to help shape our Halloween edition of Bookclub Cafe.
Practical Information
There is no assigned reading and no need to bring a book, unless you really want to share it with others!
